Full Collection - MyPixelOdyssey
A downloadable asset pack
This 16x16 pixel art tileset pack is inspired by the 15 biomes from the game Super Mario Odyssey and has an aesthetic very reminiscent of Pokémon DS era.
A visualization of some these biomes can be seen in the images of this page. You can buy each pack individually in my page as well.
The pack also contains a proposed minisprite base to be used in this project and a random NPC.
For every kingdom there's a tileset with a width of 128 pixels. Some of them also include psd files where different variations of the tiles can be arranged or it's the tileset divided by layers.
The tiles can be edited and altered as much as you want once you buy them. Be aware that the use of these assets is reserved only for non-commercial projects, since they use designs, concepts and palettes from Super Mario Odyssey.
Thank you for your attention. If you have any questions, please ask me.

Gracias por avisar. El pack es gratuito ahora para que todos los puedan usar :)
Holy cats these are incredible!!!! Kind-of a bummer that they can't be used for commercial projects, though. I would've thought that they're plenty different enough from the 3D Mario Odyssey game for that to not even remotely be an issue. Is that not the case?
My hesitation to repost them again was about that. The assets themselves are done from the ground up, but there are elements that take such a heavy inspiration (things like tostarena buildings, or the dragon head in ruined kingdom), but then there's things that are more ambiguous (most nature tiles and some new donk city buildings, for example)
That's why I started developing the MyPixelWorld project on the side, to make similar biomes to those devolped here but making them commercially viable. On October I'll post the first MyPixelWorld assets, they will be done in a similar vibe, but you will be able to use those commercially.
Oh yay! I look forward to seeing those new assets, then! :D Thank you!!!
ok this looks amazing now all it needs is interiors for all the house
Ah, I keep drooling over these. How long did it take you to do all of this? It must have been a good chunk of time. I'm finally giving in and buying them today. I don't have a purpose for them yet, but I like looking at pretty things like this, so even if I never do anything with them it's a good purchase. :D
Yeah, something this big would definitely be hard to get done. I know how it works, I've done a few of my own. I think the source of inspiration was a great idea, because switching genres and perspective would already put at least a little bit of a twist on things, but you've got a built in task list so you can just get it done. I spend way too much of my time figuring out what to make and battling feature creep.
*blushes* Thank you!
Hello! Can I use this set for commercial games?
Do you use a specific palette for making these? Or are the colours just based on what the biome was in general?
